St James Priory is the oldest church in Bristol. It dates from 1129 and has a fascinating history. Originally a Benedictine Priory it has survived the years including the Dissolution of the Monasteries, the ravages of time and 2 World Wars. It continues today offering solace, peace and tranquility to all who enter.

It is now a Roman Catholic Church and is open to people from all faiths and none from Mon - Fri between 10am and 5pm and on selected Saturdays throughout the year.
