Butser Ancient Farm is a world renowned experimental archaeological site where you can discover and compare what life was like in Britain during the Iron Age and Roman times. A unique and unforgettable experience for the whole family, with plenty to see and lots of hands on activities to try.

The Burning of the Wickerman is held annually at our Celtic Festival Beltain. Tickets are available for this in April.

We also have many specialist courses for adults and families throughout the summer, celtic festivals and outdoor theatre. 

A sustainable visitors centre opened in 2013 including a shop, information, hot drinks and toilet facilities (with running water heated through sustainable methods).
